Important Dates for the Broadtree Adventurers:

Event: CARA Marathon Begins
Date and Time: Saturday June 24th or Sunday June 25th- Times vary depending on what you choose.
Location: Go to www.cararuns.org.
What will you do? This is the first day of CARA'S fantastic training program. You will join a pace group and run 6 miles.

Event: Team kick-off informational meeting and "Buy the Right Shoe" clinic
Date and Time: Thursday, June 30th at 6:30 pm
Location: Universal Sole- 3254 North Lincoln Ave. (www.universalsole.com)
What will you do? Get your questions answered, meet your teammates, learn about the importance of the shoes that will carry you many miles and enjoy some free pizza!

Event: Free Happy Hour
Date and Time:  Thursday, Aug61ust 25th at 6:30 pm
Location: The Schoolyard Tavern- 3258 North Southport
What will you do? Take some time to sit back and relax and share training stories and fundraising ideas with your teammates. And of course enjoy free beer and food from the generous Schoolyard Tavern!

 

Date and Time: Sunday, October 22nd 8:00 am

What will you do? Run 26.2 miles with your fellow Broadtree Adventurers and then celebrate your amazing accomplishment!
