Broadtree’s programs teach participants to care for the
world far beyond the parameters of their neighborhoods. This philosophy was put
into practice by over two hundred individuals in Detroit
who attended a fundraiser hosted by Broadtree supporter, Bob Aronson and by
Northern Trust bank. Attendees demonstrated their passion for Broadtree’s work
through their contributions and through their praise. The funds raised enable
Broadtree to begin 2006 on a strong note, not only financially but also knowing
that our supporters exist far beyond the parameters of the city of Chicago and
that this support will help us to empower teens to have a positive impact on
their communities and also their world.
